Sat 2nd May 2015 –

Dear Family and friends! :))

 “I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that receiveth I will give more…” – 2 Nephi 28: 30.

This transfer, our Zone are working hard to obtain knowledge – “seek not to declare my word, but first seek to obtain my word..”.  When we study up the words of eternal life, we are a more effective and powerful tool for our Heavenly Father. :))

I am so happy to be a missionary on Temple Square.  The Sister’s among whom I labor are so special and choice.  The sister’s love everyone they speak with, because they know that each and every person on this earth is a child of God.  I labor among God’s princesses and princes and it is a privilege for me to serve here.
Earlier in the week, Sister Lee and I received a blessing of comfort and guidance from the Lord through Elder Bradshaw.  I was having a difficult time focusing and concentrating on the Lord’s missionary work.  I wanted so desperately to “forget myself and go to work” but I knew I could not leave behind all other affairs without the help of the Savior.  I felt God’s love overcome me as I received this Priesthood blessing.  I know, with all my heart, that Heavenly Father is mindful of me.  I always knew that God had a plan for his children – but this week, I came to know, that that included me.

“We do not have to concern ourselves with each of its parts separately but rather to try to keep in mind what the final result will be. The Lord knows where each piece belongs so that it fits into the plan.” – The Eternal Perspective of the Gospel.  

My companion, Sister Lee is such a wonderful person! She is a great support to me and I pray that I am a support to her also. I have had some truly amazing companion’s. Sister Lee brings out the best in others. She works hard and she has a great love for missionary work.  She contributes so much to our companionship and to our mission. She will always serve with all her heart, mind and strength in this work.

I love my District Leader, Sister Ryan so much! Firstly, because she is from Australia…more important, because she has a great love for the Lord and that drives her to work hard! She has such a great, bubbly personality. I admire Sister Ryan’s love for the scriptures. She teaches doctrine, and she teaches with confidence and love.

I know that each and every one of you are special to the Lord. The Lord wants you all, us all, to have eternal life. This is the greatest gift of all and it is available and free to every single person. This week, find way’s to come closer to our Heavenly Father. Pray and ask Him what you can sacrifice to move toward Him and His Son.
