Hello Family and Friends! 😀

Transfer 3 has been off to a busy and exciting start! I am looking forward to this transfer! Let’s make it the best one yet! 🙂

I have finished my 12 week training and my new companion is Sister Fingerle from Germany! :)) She is an amazing missionary. She is hard working, diligent, kind and she has a big heart! I loved her from day one. I am thankful to be with her and I know there is a lot I can learn from her example.

We are the Office Assistants, and Sister Fingerle is teaching me the ropes to this assignment. We work very closely with the Assistants to the President, Sister Jin and Bomgren and President Poulsen. We deal a lot with the logistics of the Mission. Transfer day was so great and so crazy! We were blessed to meet and great the new Sister’s, fresh from the MTC. We have an amazing group of Sister’s that just came in. I am blessed to work with the Sister’s on Temple Square. They are all very special and choice daughters of our Heavenly Father.

It was hard leaving my first companion and trainer Sister Barros. She has taught me how to work, work and work! Even and especially when your tired. She also taught me how to listen to people. I will miss all the Brazilian investigators we had together! Helena especially.Sister Barros is now Sister Richard’s companion from Perth! Its funny how Heavenly Father works. We think Sister Barros has a lesson to learn  from us Aussies and Kiwi’s 😉

My new companion and I have had some wonderful lessons already! We have two investigators who will be baptized in the next couple of weeks. It is the most wonderful thing, seeing people develop faith in Jesus Christ and act on their faith. I love being a missionary. I love Temple Square. I know I am here, not because of the mission, but because of my Mission President and the Sisters with whom I work with.

I know that the Sister’s I labor with in the Lord’s vineyard, were my friends in the preexistence. It is really no coincidence that  I was companions with Sister Barros, and now Sister Fingerle. We were friends before and I pray that we will always be friends. :))

I am so happy to hear the miracles that have taken place with Papa. I know that fasting and praying is a gift from God, and it works. I know when we have righteous desires and faith in Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father will bless us. I love my Papa, I admire him and I pray that I will see him, in his home, with Nan. I look forward to hearing him sing and joke around! Thank you for sending pictures of him and keeping me updated. I am blessed to be a part of the Tata and Tarawa family.

I love this quote from President Uchtdorf in the March Ensign.

“Even so, if we will lift our hearts to the Lord during those times, surely He will know and understand. He who suffered so selflessly for us in the garden and on the cross will not leave us comfortless now. He will strengthen, encourage, and bless us. He will encircle us in His gentle arms. He will be more than an angel to us. He will bring us blessed comfort, healing, hope, and forgiveness. For He is our Redeemer. Our Deliverer. Our merciful Savior and our blessed God.” – President Uchtdorf.

Remember that we need not face our heartaches and trials alone. There is a Savior, who is ready and waiting to comfort you.

I love you all! I wish you a really wonderful week :))

Love,

Sister Tata xx
